I'm also doing a 3" stainless system on my 96 E300 TURBO. I installed a 99 manifold and turbo on it, now running 3" mandrel 304 stainless elbows with straight pipe. I bought a 13239 Magnaflow from "Performancepeddler" on Ebay $53.99 with free shipping. It was about the fourth time buying from him. He might also have the number your looking at with the c/o design. If that is too loud I have a Vortex cone insert to put at the tip. I have two Vortex tips used, If your interested in one send me a message. I was origionally planning on no muffler, only the insert. Check the insert out online.
