You do have water in the system somewhere. Do you have access to an air compressor. That is what I would use to blow the whole electrical system down with. Check your plug wires very close. If water got in under a boot or end, it will stay dead until dry, but I think your problem is further up the line. If you don't hear the spark jump out of the distributor, you don't have a spark and you will have to find out why.
