I had seen a similar story like that on here and tried that numerous times.

I guess my son actually has numerous "types" of keys. Ones with red dots on them and others without. Some just start the vehicle but can not lock or unlock the vehicle (valet keys). But this one actually can lock, unlock and start the vehicle but for some reason will not trigger the alarm to shut off.
