I was just flipping through the service manual (mercedes factory, not aftermarket) When checking the hydraulic compensators it says:
"Check engine oil level, making absolutely sure it is not overfilled"
Why would they be so concerned about this? I realize the oil level is critical, high = bad, low = bad, but why be "absolutely sure" when checking the compensators? What could high oil level do to these? Mine is overfilled a bit, never though much of it, should I? (to be honest I thought it would leak out)
