This would revolutionize transplant surgery. There were a TON of Mazda 5-speeds produced from this era Ford 6 cylinders. There are weak parts to the trans (shifter bushings, end plugs, detents and gates - all easy to replace), but given the hp/torque range this trans will do very well. I planned on doing a conversion on my 89 Ranger, but did not know what it would take, in terms of mods. Sadly, I sold it after I got the 300SD. Keep going and post side pics too
