Great. A Beck wannabe except on the other side. Did these soldiers also tell us about getting the rest of the world energy independent? After all, if your trading partner goes down, it can't be good for you even if you are energy independent. But even if you achieve that, so what? We will still fight about something else. Man has fought for eons over this, that or the other. Speaking of NPR, did they also interview other soldiers who DID NOT agree with the point of that show?

I lap it up? I watch one or two % of Beck's uhhhhh, programming. That's about all I can take of the hyperbole and the aping. I see him on the Daily Show's compilations of his nonsense. To those brave souls I tip my hat. They watch his shows in their entirety so I don't have to.
I'm sure there are soldiers who think that NPR is made up of commies and America haters, well, I wouldn't be surprised anyway. And probably a contingent that has no problem with rampant, out of control use of petroleum. No real point in including them in that show.
