I got my SD because my dad was tired of replacing alternators. I drove the car and replaced 2 alternators before the problem was found. The radio was always the first to go, then the gages, then everything else! I took the car back to the shop that changed out the alternators for my dad. When the problem was finally solved it turned out to be the diode. $0.50 part killing $100 alternators
