I did not see the interview but from the three things you mentioned I find it sad. She had opinions on two things that are irrelevant (couches and clothing) but had no opinion on an issue which could be of major importance. While I agree that it is refreshing to see someone admit they don't know something and not try to BS their way out of it, I find it sad that and opinion was rendered on something so irrelevant.

I do not recall which president said that they wanted to bring back dignity to the office by having everyone where a suite in the oval (jacket and all) as if that action would bring dignity to the office. IMO, dignity is gained by tangible actions not by clothing. I personally do not care if Obama or Bush wore running shorts and tank tops in the oval. It is their actions in office that I look at.
