SLS is for the rear on wagons mostly, some of the Euro 123 sedans had SLS as well, but it's pretty rare in the US to find a sedan with SLS. Also the SLS controls the rear suspension not the front. I doubt you have SLS. Also I've never heard of the SLS using sensor, it's all mechanical, but I'm not nearly as familiar with the newer MBs as I am with the older ones.
