I made a cheap and dirty methanol fogger by taking two mason jars and attaching them to a bracket. I put two NPT fittings through each jar lid.
The first jar was stuffed with a copper pad and had a line going from the oil breather on top of the valve cover into it. On the other side of the fitting was a short piece of hose going almost to he bottom of the jar. The second fitting had a short hose that went to a fitting on the second jar. This one was stuffed with sponges that were soaked in washer fluid. The other side of that fitting also had a short hose. The final fitting had a hose that led back to the oil breather fitting in the intake tube right before the turbo (OM 603)
The idea was that excess oil (blow by) would get trapped in the first jar and as the vacuum developed by the the intake side of the turbo increased, it would atomize the fluid in the second jar and the vapor would go into the intake. The reason I used sponges was to prevent the vacuum from just sucking up fluid and damaging the turbo vanes.

By vacuum I mean the draw from the turbo intake not vacuum from the vacuum pump...

It worked fine, but was a waste of time...

I ended up returning the oil breather to it's original set up after a couple months...

Maybe if you used a really big jar for the methanol you would see some improvement...
The first jar did capture a small bit of oil from blow by but not enough to make me nervous.
