I have or have had 7 W124 from '86 to '94. The all have a rigid dash. I found a dash in an '89 coupe that is actually soft or spongy. It is not recovered, the interior color is black, and the car has over 240k miles. Was this dash somehow protected from sun baking or is there actually two versions?
