Coming from the front of the engine compartment in my E320 Station Wagon.

Tried to stethescope it but I can't tell.

It sounds really loud when the engine is being shut off and at times when accelerated.

Sound like a bucket of bolts is loose inside a rotating drum.

Otherwise car runs good, a/c works and power steering is ok.

Any thoughts?
