ok girls and boys....i have 2 benzes

1. 1987 420sel my daily driver
2. 1988 560sel my queens' daily driver

both are having a reverse issue which i may or may not understand...

when the engines are COLD, they Both slide into reverse fine

when the engines are HOT, Neither go into reverse

could this be a band problem for the reverse gear?

am i automatically looking at rebuilds?

any help is appreciated.
