The MB speed sensitive steering works via a non serviceable valve on the steering box. I gets its signal from the engine electronics either from the ASR or ADS. The module in the computer box processes the signal and the pressure is reduced as speed increases, at stand-still max pressure and system default is max power steering. This applies to the 140 body, I dont know how how the cars with rack and pinion are handled.
