I would strongly suggest having a close look at the trunk, interior and engine bay "weep" drains. In the trunk and interior, you have to lift the carpeting to get to the big rubber grommets that have the weep holes. Make sure that they weren't clogged up with debris or dirt. In the engine bay, the drains from the sunroof come down the A-pillar and empty into the space behind the front wheels. There are also weep grommets around the encapsulated hood areas, like near the battery and the master cylinder.
