Lucky you didn't actually have to take bullets! Like I did when I moved out of my apartment into our house and discovered how many crates of ammo I'd accummulated over the years. You know how heavy an ammo crate of 1400 rounds of 8mm can be? And I had to carrry seven of the damm things down two flights of stairs and out to the van. In Phoenix in June!

Other than that though I was lucky. I'd managed to not accumulate much stuff apart from a couch and table and books and my gf wansn't much worse so we were able to move both our apartments into our house on our own in one day. But only just.

I agree with you on the awfulness of it in general. I've had to move eight times in total in my life and the next time I will pay people to do it for me.
