I spend about 40% of my time traveling, usually a week or two at a time. From a work point of view, I definitely like to have a change of scenery (I would go crazy having to show up at the same office every day). From a personal point of view, it's tough to be away from home that much. The upside is that I don't have to relocate the family every few years as work opportunities move.
