I just had a new E-Coupe in the shop last week with the same issue you're having. As I said in my previous post, I just popped a new receiver in and took it for a ride. I lost the signal while driving in a clear area, so I replaced the antenna. Problem solved. Not exactly a high-tech approach, but it works.
