I have a G3 I got for free, and the full accessory kit I got for free from someone else too.
It works decently, it's a bit of a pain with dog hair since the hair gets wrapped around the spindle and then burns out the belt, but otherwise not a bad machine.
FWIW, Kirby will rebuild your machine to current new specs for a pretty reasonable price.
