love the one you're with
I hadn't driven my 240 D for a while as have been driving my SE as was doing the front end on my SD.
What a different the 240 is. We live on a gravel road and I have a tendency to baby my other cars on on the gravel but not with smokey old Pearl.I'd forgotten how well she revs and shifts how easy it is to correct her when I tempt her into a curve with a touch too much enthuiasm.how could I have forgotten.......
Drove Goldie my 81 SD to town today, first time out since doing front end and nice replacement drivers seat from Ebay, Wow this old girl sure tracks nice, and after all that fiddling with the bowden cable and modulator maybe I'll try to suprise a Mustang at a traffic light, she sure looks good for her age when I catch veiw of her as I come out a store.......
Got home in time to put a can of 134 in The
General my 86 Euro 500 SE with perfect dark Blue leather seats and power windows "in a Euro" The sound of the subdued rumble of that wondurus V8,I give the burl a bit of wax.I better take him,her (my wife says shes a Lady General)out tomorrow just to see if the AC is working better and check
the speedo meter I'm sure it reads fast.......
