Some years the ladybug population seems to explode right in my own back yard, and they find there way inside with the greatest of ease. They tend to end up in clusters in the upper corners of each room. The cats find them quite entertaining, and my wife loves vacuuming them up.

The stink bugs don't get inside in large quantities. I do know last year they virtually completely clogged the screen behind my attic gable vent. I've not been into the attic yet this year.

Correction to OP, they are all over the North / NW wall of my house.
I'd like to take a flame thrower out there, but that might be a little dangerous.
