pin, the fuel pump and fuel filter should be located in front of the right rear tire. Three 10mm nylon nuts secure the black plastic cover which protects the fuel pump and fuel filter from road grime. Once you remove the cover everything is evident.

Before loosening the fuel pump fittings it's best to clamp the large rubber line coming from the fuel tank to reduce/eliminate gas leakage. Note the flow direction on the fuel filter and reuse the plastic sleeve on the old fuel filter if the new filter doesn't have a sleeve.
