There are instructions on making one out of a pringles can as well, but to extend a base station out 700 feet you'll need to boost the output power which is hard to do as well as heavily frowned upon by the FCC without a license. |
That's a pretty cool product. I have seen people use old Dishnetwork/Direct tv dishes to pick up a neighborhood hotspot.
