My youngest is 2 classes (6 credits) short of a degree. In 2009 she took a new job in LA. I made sure she did not say she had a Bachelors degree on her job app. I don't know if she'll ever get around to getting the degree, but soon she won't need it. Her work experience and networking contacts will make that irrelavent in her field.
