FYI I successfully sealed the evaporator leak on my 92 300D with Cryoseal (a high-end sealant). I did a lot of research on the stuff http://www.cryochem.com/r134a.php. From what I understand, evaporator replacement is a solid 16 hours of labor...just couldn't see spending that kind of money.
Now I've got a leaking compressor (Cryoseal does nothing for compressor shaft seals), so I'll need to replace at some point.
