This is typical in Asia. It's nothing to be in a traffic jam in China..finally drive by the impact car causing the jam...and see that the driver has stopped to let his daughter/wife,get out and pee.
India and Thailand have the added obstacles of cattle roaming the roads.
While the roads in Singapore are all top-notch, the drivers do whatever they feel like doing, an American just wants to slap them.
And no-one gives a crap about an unfortunate motor-bike rider, they see him crash and burn-and dont even blink-just keep on cruisin.
Once as a passenger, I saw a guy on a scooter get creamed by a truck. I asked my wife (who has lived here all of her life) 'What about this accident"? She simply said 'Forget about him, he is probly dead..nothing can do now'
