Unfortunately, sometimes the fuel delivery person dumps gas in the diesel tank. According to the Bosh rebuilder, gas took out the reman injection pump on my Diesel Ram. Of course, there is no way to prove it or get reimbursed for 2 $1,000 pumps (original & 1st reman), 8 hrs install time or 25 gallons of fuel thrown away. At least the SD pump isn't as finiky as the VP.
