ok....if you drill it out, be sure to keep the bit in the tumbler and don't stray out into the housing. No need to ground the black shroud....just the tumbler.



notice the square piece on the top of the tumbler. That has to recede in order to unscrew the shroud.

If you drill small holes into the rim of the tumbler and FIND that hole, you can stick a stout paperclip in there, recede the square and unscrew the shroud and remove the tumbler.

this is the way I would try and do it next.
