From the Cryoseal FAQ:

Q. Will CryosealŽ seal all leaks?
A. Our Self-Sealing Refrigerant process cannot seal extremely large leaks or ruptures. A good guideline to follow is that it should not be used for leaks that individually release more than 1 pound of refrigerant per hour. It should be noted that CryosealŽ will not seal dynamic shaft seal leaks on external drive shafts.
