Splain what you mean "Power the car off". do you mean you rev the engine and turn the key off?
This would wind up the turbo, then winding down wouldn`t have the oil to lube it.

I have seen guys do this to gassers, rev the engine to high rpm`s, then turn the eng off as it winds down. this just fills the cylinders with raw gas.

there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.
