If I tap the brakes, it goes away for a few second, but comes back. If i hit a bump it will also go away for a few second. It only does it when i am going at a consistent speed above 40ish MPH.

Is something loose on the brakes that is causing this? Any other ideas?

Check that the brake backing plate has not gotten bent and is now touching the rotor or that there is a piece of gravel of something between the backing plate and the rotor.
