I'm okay with a little more sound, provided it sounds like a car and not a cummins, ... and has a nice note without raspy tractor sounds, a resonator or non-baffled straight-through muffler can IMO sweeten the note without taking too much away. I've heard enough school-bus exhaust thank you.

I tried a straight-pipe on my first (Cat Powered) motorhome, too much snap, installed a 6" Walker Megaflow w/o baffles and got down to a nice note with a constant whistle which saved me from watching the boost gauge (the boost gauge is a good way to get good fuel mileage).
