Thanks for THE reply. (Not sure 'bout my most recent thread subjects, but seems that nobody's INTERESTED in them!)

I am not seeing any hint of water in the area you suggest. I should look really close in case it use leaking.

I understand your not wanting to tackle it - doesn't seem very easy to do. My car only has << 89K miles on it and is in extraordinary condition for a 16 year old and would really like to have ALL systems functioning properly. May be pipe dream on this one?!
