Do you mean to say that the cleaner solution actually burns just like diesel would, so that the engine keeps running, sucking the cleaner out of a can, and no drop of diesel fuel? I have the same nagging nailing sound every now and then, the mechanic at MB had the injectors removed, said they had a nice spray pattern and that they contained pressure well, no drops. Could a purge help here also to get rid of the sounds? Naturally, it should do no harm, but would it actually be of any real improvement?
