You also have 3 more 10mm bolts to the left of that (not visible in the picture), which I also removed. There's nothing holding that entire assembly to the vehicle now, except for an electrical wire that supplie s power. The whole thing is loose, I just can't get clearance.

That aluminum trim along the bottom of the wind shield needs to be removed, it comes off pulling it in the direction straight up off the windshield, that should give you another 1/2-3/4" of clearence, and if that is still not enough then you will need to remove the firewall panel!
