I ran mine on 100% SVO last year just to try it. I rigged a little oil container, like you do when you do a diesel purge, but filled it up with Canola oil instead and I did notice the engine running VERY silently; the characteristic diesel clac-clac-clac was gone and it sounded more like a gasser... I wonder what causes this effect.
