...talked to a friend of mine on the telephone this evening.

He asked me for advise how he should have handled the following situation:

He was cruising in his 300 E at about 210 km/h in northern Germany heading south, back home. Suddenly he caught up to a Ford Scorpio 2.9i Police cruiser on the left lane with the blue lights flashing cruising at about 200 km/h (the lights on the roof are a major backdraw)

What should he do, since they didn't let him go his way?

I have no idea how he should have handled the situation
