Problem with premade wiring/relay setups is that Mercedes 124 is not wired like an American car. The chassis wiring warness connects to the plastic headlight housing with either a four-prong (USA) or six-prong (EURO) bullet-style connector block. It does not connect directly to the H4 bulb (or the 9XXX bulb in the USA units). Rather, the connection to the bulb is via wiring internal to the headlight unit. I think by the time you adapt the pre-made unit to the Mercedes system, you could have made the entire thing from scratch. And I certainly wouldn't run with the access doors removed from the headlight units. Maybe someone will go into business and make up heavy-duty wiring harness adapters for Mercedes, but that hasn't happened yet and I'd offer that the Chevy unit covered at the GM B-body site is of little help.
