I looked at ********, and see that for the 240d the part number for a reman bosch is sr61x, and for a 300d it is sr70x.

They do list the power output on some starters but not the bosch, and the range for the 240d is from 2.2 kw to 2.7 kw depending on brand of starter. The Beck/Arnley was the highest at 2.7

No end to the confusion it appears.....
