Could improper installation cause that?
I remember reading that if the torque converter isn't just right it could lead to pump failure.
I guess I just don't see how I could install the torque converter any other way than the way I did it.
It bolts to the fly wheel and the housing bolts to the engine.
I don't know.
I guess this is why people by new or rebuilt transmissions.
How long before implosion if it's the front pump?
