If he is driving to meet you that far It's probably a decent runner. Any past docs or reciepts would help. That is a decent price if things are in order. Many parts will swap out of your sedan or other gasser wagons from wrecking yards.

If running well you should go from 0-60 in about 12-13 seconds

Some things to look out for:
-A/C operation
-Sunroof
-Rust (expensive or VERY time consuming)
- Rear hatch lift pumps
- Power antenna (specific to wagon)
- Leaks in rear hydo shocks (very expensive)
- look down into fuel tank neck - all scaley rust? I needed a new "used" fuel tank. or it can get re-coated
-too Many holes in exhaust/muffler

Good luck! With time, money, money, money, and love it can be a great car. Save it from being parted out!!
