My buddy's 560SEL, just blew it out the hose that runs right above the exhaust crossover pipe from the drivers side head to the heat exanger

we put a new coolant bottle and cap on today..

I'm not there so I'm not sure how bad the hose is..it might be repairable as is..but just wondering if we go replacement route...

A combination of things might have caused this
1) Age
2) Changing motor mounts, we lifted the engine way high up..maybe it got pinched/damaged.
3) He shoved a graden hose though it..

Either way...

How bad is this to do?
