I know #5 isn't part of the vacuum system... its the thing that seems to connect the gas pedal to the throttle linkage..?
the black rubber parts seems pretty worn and cracked, and it gives/warps/bends a lot when the pedal is engaged.. does this play affect the performance or anything? ie - should i replace it?
the car is quite the slowpoke... which i realize the aren't speed machines, but i am trying to get everything i can at least in order to maximize the power & acceleration.
