byron, keep in mind your car does not have the original engine, so odds are good the speedo is not oe also. 27 highway is doable, if you drive quite sane.
the 24 city sounds high to me. but you do have a really nice car (well... it was!)
I'd check the odo against mile markers, and see how close it is.
