Had another word besides "witch" in mind.
An antecdotal story I've heard concerns one of the little people playing a munchkin in the Wizard of Oz - supposedly the studio had to replace or fire this particular person, because due to their accent, he/she mispronounced every "w" in a word as a "b" .......
