I am not trying to sound neg and your situation may be different, just saying..be careful out there! I would try to go straight in if I could. Good luck!
Tank, I know what you mean. I'm 99% sure I've qualified for an AA in history; just need to talk to a counselor (and I will be sure to do that), so if I do get caught in a situation like that, I'll at least have some sort of degree to show for it. And, actually, 'cause of a few unexpected things happening while I was at the community college level, I was left without much of a choice except for working for a year, to make enough $$ to get into the 4 year school. Besides, I'm still with my mom; she'll make sure I don't fall into that rut. And I'm not planning to go out and buy a brand-new car or anything like that (unless they both die unexpectedly, the 300D and my pickup should serve just fine), and I'm used to living frugally. I know what you mean on the temptation being there, and I'd be nuts to say I'm not potentially suscepible to it, but hopefully I won't be bitten by the bug.

Heck, I haven't even gotten my private pilot's license yet...actually, I need to start seriously working on that again. BTW, I'm planning (hoping?) to get into a career in aviation, so that's not just for the fun of it.
