im surprised you had the access to call her in the first place. seems like a big opportunity for abuse by a needy spouse or child. Perhaps this is their way of correcting just such a situation. Anyway, as others have mentioned, there is no reason in this day and age not to have a cell. if at least to be able to call for car trouble and whatnots. i agree with the their phone their rules portion of it. A notification might have been nice
