The EGR valve is over on the other side, near the turbo. The valve on the bottom of the intake is the second resonance flap I so rudely mentioned before, I have never heard of or seen it leak oil, but perhaps if the intake manifold were filled with blow-by oil....????
Hopefully this isn't the case, how many miles on the engine?
I've never heard of a replaceable part in an egr valve. Perhaps he means he wants to replace the resonance flap? Again, I've never heard of "leaking" being used in reference to this flap, just sticking.
Sorry if my writing style turns you off, you're not the first, I do like to help though. What I lack in tact I make up for with, hmmmm, well nothing really, I'm just tactless, see my "location" on the left side of this post.
