It's just like me to reply BEFORE looking at the pictures. The one pulley that looks like the offender doesn't look to be misaligned as it does "loose." It appears to be at an angle. This is the sort of thing that's kind of hard to make much out of without being there.

The most important trait of a good troubleshooter is to be vindictive. Approach the problem as an adversary who's A$$ you are intent on kicking. Don't give up.
