hello,

i recently aquired a '79 240 D. I love it so far.

the engine will not die when i turn off the key. sometimes it dies 30 seconds later, sometimes i must lift the hood and press the "stop" lever. any suggestions?

the manual transmission: the owners manual calls for 10W/20 or W020. I've seen people online state that it is W-30. I want to stick with what the old owners manual states, and i can purchase this. any suggestions?
